Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday extended his heartfelt greetings on the occasion of Hindi Diwas and called upon citizens to collectively work towards enriching all Indian languages and passing them on to future generations with pride.

In a post shared on X, PM Modi said, "Heartfelt greetings to all on Hindi Diwali. Hindi is not merely a medium of communication, but a vibrant heritage of our identity and values. On this occasion, let us all together resolve to enrich Hindi along with all Indian languages and to pass them on to the coming generations with pride."

He further said that the growing respect for Hindi on the global stage is a matter of pride and inspiration for everyone.
