With the ongoing tensions between the two nations, Indian intelligence agencies are on their toes to get hold of the people who are trying to give out information to the neighbouring country and working as a spy. In another operation, a man hailing from Punjab's Tarn Taran district was arrested for allegedly sharing sensitive information related to the army's movements during Operation Sindoor. As per PTI, the man was sharing some crucial information with Pakistani intelligence operatives, a top police officer said on Tuesday.
While arresting the alleged spy for Pakistan, police also recovered a mobile phone containing information, which he shared with the Pakistani Intelligence Operatives (PIOs).
As reported by PTI, the accused was allegedly in contact with Pakistan's intelligence agency, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), and also received money for passing on sensitive information, the police said.
