The Congress on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on Union Home Minister Amit Shah, mocking his recent speech in the Lok Sabha and claiming he delivered a lengthy address without using what it described as his “favourite word of abuse.”
Congress Mocks Shah’s 90-Minute Speech
The opposition party’s remarks came a day after Shah spoke in the Lok Sabha during a debate on efforts to eliminate Left-Wing Extremism (LWE). Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh took a dig at the home minister, stating that Shah had “ranted for 90 minutes” but refrained from using language that had previously drawn objections and been expunged from parliamentary records.
