Telangana cracks down on illegal food units

Authorities launched a major crackdown on food adulteration units, including those producing ginger-garlic paste and bakery items like Osmania biscuits. In March alone, 61 cases were registered, 64 people arrested, and over 14,000 kg of products seized

From units manufacturing adulterated ginger-garlic pastes, bakery items, including Hyderabad’s iconic Osmania biscuits, authorities cracked down on multiple food processing units. In March,  the officials registered a total of 61 cases and arrested 64 people and seized with 14,685 kg of adulterated food products.
