Former CEO of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) Partho Dasgupta was sent to 14-day judicial custody on Wednesday.

Dasgupta was arrested in connection with the alleged TRP scam and has been labeled ‘mastermind’ behind the fraud as per Mumbai Police. The former CEO’s bail application will be heard by the court on January 1. He will be put up at a school before being transferred to jail, said police sources.
