Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh on Friday strongly criticised Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of spreading misinformation and trying to “instigate a civil war in the country.”
Speaking to reporters, Singh questioned Gandhi’s claims on farmers’ issues and the India–US interim trade agreement. He said the Congress leader was misleading the public despite repeated assurances from the government. “What farmer issue? Lies, like Rafale. Spreading confusion among the people,” Singh said.
