Uttarakhand in the last few days received extremely heavy rainfall, along with scenarios of cloudbursts and landslides. In view of making the situation in the state the same as before, the Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday conducted an on-site inspection. CM Dhami visited the disaster-affected areas, including Sahastradhara, Raipur, and other impacted localities in Dehradun, amid heavy rainfall since the early hours of Tuesday.
Heavy rain has caused significant damage to human life as well as the infrastructure across the state, with several highways being damaged; smaller towns across the state also got hit badly.
