Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju on Thursday strongly criticised Congress MP Rahul Gandhi over his allegations of "vote theft" by the Election Commission, claiming the Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition has neither read the Constitution nor respects it, reported ANI.
Speaking to the media, Rijiju said, "Rahul Gandhi has not read the Constitution and has no respect for it. I don't have any medicines to improve Rahul Gandhi. He should come to his senses after the Supreme Court's comment."
The Union Minister was referring to the Supreme Court's remarks on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Bihar, which upheld the Election Commission’s revision of electoral rolls and noted that Aadhaar card is not conclusive proof of citizenship, reported ANI.
