Winter grips Kashmir, Srinagar records season's coldest night at -3.2 degrees

Kashmir witnessed an intense cold wave on Monday, with Srinagar recording its coldest night of the season at –3.2 degree C. Several regions, including Shopian, Pulwama, Pahalgam and Gulmarg, dipped below freezing as the valley continues to face a prolonged dry spell

With the winter season gripping major parts of the country, Kashmir on Monday experienced intense cold waves. As reported by the news agency PTI, parts of the state recorded temperatures as the minimum. With a significant drop in temperature, the mercury in Kashmir has been recorded below the freezing point. 

Srinagar on Sunday, as per the officials, experienced the coldest night of this winter, as reported by news agency PTI.
