A 30-year-old woman pursuing her PhD allegedly died by suicide at her residence in Pune, police said on Monday. The incident took place on Saturday at her home in Chinchwad, where she was found dead, reported PTI.

According to Bhosari MIDC police, the woman left behind a note in which she accused her research guide of inappropriate behaviour and harassment. Based on these allegations, authorities began an investigation into the matter.
