After YouTuber Savakku Shankar, owner of the RedPix YouTube channel Felix Gerald was arrested by the Tiruchi police, after its Cyber Crime Branch complained that during his interview with Shankar he made derogatory comments against women police officers.

MA Yasmin, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Musiri, had filed a case alleging that Shankar’s “demeaning” comments against women police personnel consequently caused immense mental agony to them. Shankar was arrested on May 8 in the case.
