Preacher calls charges "trumped and fictitious"; says preachings don't have "terrorism angle"

Zakir Naik
After the Interpol refused to issue a red corner notice to Islamic preacher Dr. Zakir Naik, the preacher has released a statement calling the decision, "not surprising." He also calls out the BJP government, calling it"regressive."
"Interpol's decision is not shocking at all. It may surprise the Indian media and the common man on the street, but it doesn't surprise me. It should not surprise even the Indian agencies who know in their hearts that their charges are trumped up and fictitious. You can't get Interpol to play your political, communal game," said Zakir Naik in the statement.
