Polling began for 30 seats in West Bengal and 39 seats in Assam in the second phase of the assembly elections at 7 am on Thursday. All eyes are on high profile Nandigram constituency where Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is fighting against Suvendu Adhikari, her former aide and confidant who strode over to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
