Manipur celebrated the 150th birth anniversary of India`s `Iron Man` and first Home Minister, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, with great fervour on Friday. Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla said that his birth anniversary, which is celebrated as `National Unity Day` is a reminder of Sardar Patel`s courage and foresight in integrating more than 500 princely states into one Republic.
