One person was killed while twelve others injured after slabs from a footbridge collapsed in Maharashtra`s Chandrapur on Sunday. The incident happened at Ballar Shah railway station in the city at 5 pm. The railways announced a compensation of ₹ 1 lakh for those with serious injuries, and ₹ 50,000 for those with minor injuries.
