Days after the tragic Poonch terror attack, Indian security forces achieved a major breakthrough
.J&K Police, in a joint operation with CRPF and Indian Army, busted a module of six suspects.
However, "success will be celebrated after execution of the killers" according to J&K DGP as hunt for terrorists is still underway. Addressing the media, the J&K DGP gave some important details of the incident. Five soldiers were killed after terrorists ambushed their vehicle with grenades in Poonch district of J&K on April 20. After grenades were lobbed, the army vehicle immediately caught fire, which led to the tragic incident. The incident took place on a highway in the Bhata Dhurian area, some 90 kms from Poonch. Defence sources have said that the terrorists are suspected to be from Pakistan-based outfit LeT. Search operations are being conducted extensively in areas with multiple cave-type natural structures.
