Race 2 is an upcoming Indian action thriller film to be directed by Abbas-Mustan and produced under the Tips Music Films banner. It is the sequel to the 2008 hit film, Race, and stars an ensemble cast that includes Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor and Ameesha Patel. Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor reprise their roles of as Ranvir Singh and Inspector Robert D'Costa from the previous film while Bipasha Basu will reprise her role of Sonia in a cameo. The film is scheduled to release on 25 January 2013
