Liquor baron Vijay Mallya has refuted charges of diverting funds out of Kingfisher Airlines, stating that he had been on a 'forced exile'. In an interview with Financial Times, Mallya, who had left India on March 2 for UK, said his passport was seized in a haste and without any intimation.
