The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has announced that it will undertake a comprehensive cleanliness drive every fortnight across all its bus stations. This includes station premises and administrative buildings.
The initiative’s aims are multi-pronged according to the MSRTC. One is to improve hygiene standards at ST bus stations. The other is to enhance overall passenger experience, which of course cleanliness and hygiene does and lastly it is about strengthening the public image of the state-run transport service.
