The construction of a second foot overbridge (FOB) for Wankhede Stadium reached a milestone over the past weekend, as five large steel girders were successfully placed across all active railway tracks.

This new FOB is located at the southern end of the stadium. Last month, a similar bridge was completed at the northern end, improving accessibility to the arena from both sides. A Western Railway (WR) spokesperson told mid-day recently that the girders had been launched for the Wankhede south foot overbridge between Churchgate and Marine Lines.
