Musk’s xAI sued as Grok accused of generating exploitative AI deepfakes

Ashley St Clair, the mother of one of Elon Musk’s children, has filed a lawsuit in New York against Musk’s AI company xAI, alleging that its chatbot Grok enabled the creation of sexually exploitative deepfake images of her. The 27-year-old claims the images including altered photos from her teenage years caused severe emotional distress

The mother of one of Elon Musk’s children is suing his AI company, saying its Grok chatbot allowed users to generate sexually exploitative deepfake images of her that have caused her humiliation and emotional distress.

Ashley St Clair, 27, alleges in a lawsuit filed on Thursday in New York City against xAI that the images have included a photo of her fully dressed at age 14 that was altered to show her in a bikini,  others pictures of her as an adult show her in  compromising positions while wearing a bikini with swastikas.
