In a promising discovery, authorities have spotted the critically endangered flat-headed cat in Thailand for the first time in 30 years. 

Notably, the sighting involved more than a single individual. The last recorded sighting of this pescatarian, house-cat-sized feline near the Thailand-Malaysia border occurred in 1995.
