A father-and-son engineering duo from South Africa has reclaimed the Guinness World Record for the fastest quadcopter drone after clocking an average speed of 656.6 kmph with their latest creation.

YouTuber Luke Bell and his father, Mike, set the new world speed record in Cape Town, South Africa, on December 11, 2025. The milestone was achieved during a test flight of the Peregreen V4, a fully 3D-printed quadcopter.
