Born on July 21, 1944, in Toronto, Andrew A, Quentin B and Joel C Meloff are triplets that were born within 45 seconds of each other. Their parents, Suzanne Lyons and Rick Meloff, decided to give them three initials — A,B,C as their middle names in their order of birth. This idea was suggested by the nurses to distinguish between them.

The triplets looked so identical that even the boys could not distinguish between each other in a picture until they turned 12. Their names made everyone turn their heads, and as Quentin admits, it made for a great topic of discussion for a first date.
