Saudi Arabia intercepts drones and missile, expels Iranian diplomat amid tension

Saudi Arabia successfully intercepted multiple drones and a ballistic missile targeting its capital and eastern regions, following repeated attacks linked to Iran. The kingdom has condemned Iran’s attacks, expelled Iranian diplomats, and reaffirmed its commitment to defend sovereignty

The Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Defence said on Sunday that it was successful in the interception of several aerial threats over the kingdom’s capital and eastern regions, reported the ANI.
Military officials stated that four more drones were shot down over the Eastern Province. This action follows a series of attempted attacks targeting residential areas and economic hubs.
