No breakthrough in US-Iran talks: JD Vance leaves Islamabad with ‘final offer’

US Vice President JD Vance said talks with Iran ended without a deal after 21 hours, adding that a “final and best offer” has been put forward

US Vice-President JD Vance on Sunday said that talks with Iran ended without an agreement after nearly 21 hours of negotiations in Islamabad, adding that Washington has placed its “final and best offer” on the table.

“We leave here with a very simple proposal, a method of understanding that is our final and best offer. We'll see if the Iranians accept it,” Vance told reporters after the marathon discussions.
