Iran’s revenge attack on major Gulf bridges next as US hits Iran’s Karaj bridge

Updated On: 03 April, 2026 08:33 PM IST

Iran has released a list of major bridges across the Gulf region and Jordan following strikes on the 136-metre-high B1 bridge near Karaj. The warning, reported by Fars News Agency, names strategic crossings in Kuwait, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Jordan as potential targets in a possible tit-for-tat escalation. The development comes after US-Israel strikes partially destroyed Iran’s tallest bridge project southwest of Tehran. Videos showed sections collapsing, while Iranian officials accused Washington and Tel Aviv of targeting civilian infrastructure.
