After U.S. President Donald Trump doubled tariffs on India over its Russian oil imports, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu — a close friend to both Trump and Modi — has reacted. In a meeting with India’s Ambassador to Israel, J.P. Singh, Netanyahu expressed hope for a resolution, called both leaders his “terrific friends,”. Netanyahu also said he would privately share advice with Modi on dealing with Trump. He also pitched for deeper India-Israel ties, faster defence and economic agreements, and direct Tel Aviv–Bangalore flights.
