A massive fire broke out at the Wanaherang Gunung Putri plastic factory in West Java, Indonesia, sending thick plumes of smoke into the sky on Sunday afternoon. The blaze, which erupted around 3:30 PM local time, turned into a grueling battle for firefighters who struggled nearly seven hours to bring it under control. Bogor Regency Fire Service deployed over 50 personnel, supported by volunteers, police, and military units. Ten fire trucks, two rescue units, and ambulances rushed to the scene, confronting challenging conditions and a blaze fueled by highly flammable plastic materials.
