St Xavier&rsquo;s Boys Academy&rsquo;s Aryan Babardesai smashed a 55-ball century (14x4, 3x6) against Arya Gurukul, Kalyan, in the <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/football/article/joy-for-josephs-23317942" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">MSSA</a> <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/cricket/article/mssa-still-hopeful-of-conducting-harris-giles-shield-cricket-tourneys-23162675" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Harris Shield inter-school competition</a> at Cross Maidan on Friday.

Aryan was joined by five other centurions&mdash;Manthan Awate (104) for St Sebastian, Chembur, Neel Shinde (154*) for KC Gandhi, Kalyan, Siddharth Jadhav (127*) for Oxford PS, Kandivli, Aarush Thakur (109) for Tarapur Vidyamandir and Abhijit Mallick (128*) for VPMS.

Meanwhile, left-arm spinner Saad Khan of Al Barkaat MMI English, claimed eight wickets to help beat Shardashram English by seven wickets.&nbsp;
An all-round show by Pratik Gosavi (5-49) and 50* helped St Xavier&rsquo;s Fort beat St Joseph, Malad, by six wickets. Pratik&rsquo;s teammate Harshal Hadkar bagged a fifer too.
