Ahead of Asia Cup 2025, India`s chief selector Ajit Agarkar on Tuesday announced the squad for the upcoming continental event.

In the squad, one of India`s prominent batsmen, Shreyas Iyer, has missed the cut. Speaking on his exclusion, Agarkar said that he`ll have to wait for his chance.

The 47-year-old former pacer told the media, "With regards to Shreyas, not his fault, nor is it ours. It`s just that you can pick 15 and at the moment you`ll have to wait for his chance".
