Dewald Brevis expresses his thoughts on 'Baby AB' label

Dewald Brevis has represented South Africa in two Test matches, in which he has scored 84 runs, including a half-century. He has also donned South Africa`s ODI jersey on four occasions and has scored 64 runs. The 22-year-old has also featured in 10 T20Is and has accumulated 318 runs

South Africa`s batting sensation, Dewald Brevis, is often compared to legendary batsman AB de Villiers, and fans have given him a nickname, `Baby AB`.
On being compared with de Villiers, the youngster said that he looks at it as a privilege rather than a burden.
"That`s where (Under-19 World Cup 2022) a friend of mine, when I got the 50 against India, held a little board with `Baby AB` written on it. Ever since, I have been telling people that it has never been a burden and never have I felt pressure, because for me it was one of the most special things," Brevis said on De Villiers` YouTube channel.
