Gujarat Titans’ (GT) South African batsman David Miller, who contributed a 21-ball 30 in GT’s maiden IPL triumph, lavished high praise on Hardik Pandya’s (33 in 28 balls) leadership qualities. 

“I have played against him a few times and what I have seen of him was exactly what I expected. He asked us to play with freedom and have fun. He wants us to work hard and win. It’s just about reiterating the amount of fun and what a great opportunity this is to be at the IPL and play at this level. So far, so good with his leadership. I am really looking forward to working alongside him for the next two months—going out and expressing ourselves—and enjoying what we do,” Miller said during a post-match virtual press conference.
