India pacer Jasprit Bumrah claims his first five-wicket haul in only his third match. His maiden fifer in the first innings helps the visitors bundle out South Africa for just 194 in reply to India’s 187, giving the hosts a slim seven-run lead. The speedster’s seven-wicket match haul then sets up a 63-run win for India.
There’s no stopping Bumrah as he picks up his second fifer in consecutive matches. Returning from an injury layoff, he finishes with 5-85 to hand England, chasing 521, a massive 203-run defeat. The victory also puts an end to India’s five-match losing streak in England.
