The fifth T20I match between Team India and Australia at The Gabba in Brisbane has been abandoned due to persistent rain.

With this, the five-match T20I series between the "Men in Blue" and the Aussies ended in the favour of the visitors 2-1. Swashbuckling opening batsman Abhishek Sharma has been adjudged the "Player of the Series" for his fireworks throughout the contest.
