The Old Trafford cricket ground in Manchester will now have a Farokh Engineer Stand, which will be inaugurated on the morning of the fourth India vs England Test on Wednesday.

Engineer, 87, informed mid-day on Sunday that the stand is in between the main pavilion and the media centre.

Historians reckon this is the first instance of an overseas stand being named after an Indian cricketer.
