India pacer Arshdeep Singh had a very special reason to smile after his brilliant performance during the third T20I against South Africa in Dharamsala on Sunday. The 26 year old claimed two wickets for just 13 runs in four overs, including the prized scalp of opener Reeza Hendricks in the very first over. He returned later in the innings to dismiss skipper Aiden Markram.

Arshdeep was named Player of the Match in Team India’s seven-wicket win and dedicated the award to someone very close to his heart — his 10-month-old niece, Inayat. Though she is too young to understand cricket, little Inayat has become a source of joy and strength for her uncle.
