Promising all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy finds himself at the centre of a legal dispute after returning home early from the ongoing Test series in England.
Reddy, who was part of India’s squad for the five-match series, sustained a knee injury after the third Test and was ruled out of the remainder of the tour. However, what awaited him back home was far more complex than just rehabilitation.
Reddy has been dragged into a legal battle by his former management agency, Square The One Private Limited, which has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court demanding Rs 5 crore in unpaid dues. The agency has alleged breach of contract and non-payment under the terms of a long-standing agreement with the cricketer.
