Sunrisers Hyderabad star pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar showcased his exceptional skills with the ball and defended 13 runs in the final over of the IPL 2024 match against Rajasthan Royals at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. The pacer bagged three wickets by conceding 41 runs in four overs. RR`s Rovman Powell tried his best but failed to take the team home. Sunrisers Hyderabad won the IPL 2024 match against Rajasthan Royals by one run.
Having needed to chase a target of 202 runs in the IPL 2024 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals opening batsman Jos Buttler departed on a duck on the very first ball of his innings, followed by captain Sanju Samson who returned to the pavilion after getting bowled by Bhuvneshwar Kumar for zero run. Later, opener Yashasvi Jaiswal and in-form batsman Riyan Parag stood strong in the middle. The young duo fearlessly showcased their skills against SRH. Jaiswal scored 67 runs in 40 balls before getting bowled by T. Natarajan. The left-hander`s knock was laced with 7 fours and 2 sixes. Parag on the other hand, smashed 77 runs off 49 deliveries including 8 fours and 4 sixes.
