Following the loss against DC made SRH bowed out of the playoffs race of the IPL 2025. Bowling first in the match, the Pat Cummins-led side managed to restrict Delhi to 133 runs for the loss of seven wickets. Later, the rain played the spoilsport in the match, which could have been an easy two points for Hyderabad

The IPL 2025 match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) was washed out due to persistent rain. Following the abandoned match, SRH head coach Daniel Vettori feels that the conditions in Hyderabad were not as they expected.
"I definitely did not say after every match I was backing an aggressive approach. I said we are about assessing conditions and this year, the conditions weren`t as we expected. If you look at last year, there were a lot of high-scoring games here. These surfaces in particular have been a little bit different. It has been tricky, it has not been easy for the batters," said Vettori in the post-match press conference.
