Fadnavis congratulated the two cricketers and lauded their role in bringing glory to the country.

India defeated New Zealand by 96 runs in the T20 World Cup final in Ahmedabad to secure a historic title win. Team India became the first team to successfully defend their title, as well as the first team to win a T20 WC at home.
