<p>MI Cape Town on Thursday announced former Australia batsman Simon Katich as their head coach for the inaugural SA20 player auction scheduled in <strong><a href="https://www.mid-day.com/sports/cricket/article/ipl-2022-assistant-coach-simon-katich-unhappy-quits-srh-over-auction-plan-23214964" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Cape Town</a></strong> on September 19.</p>
<p>The SA20 is the premier T20 cricket League in South Africa. South African legend Hashim Amla will join the team as batting coach, MI Cape Town informed in a statement on Thursday.</p>
