Team India`s opening batswoman Pratika Rawal has been penalised for two events that she committed during the first ODI in Southampton, and England`s captain Nat Sciver-Brunt has been fined for the team maintaining a slow over rate.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed that Pratika breached the ICC Code of Conduct, following which she is fined 10 per cent of her match fees.
While the first one came in the 18th over, Rawal made physical contact with England pacer Lauren Filer in an attempt to complete a run.
Later, after being dismissed, the 24-year-old was seen getting involved in a similar situation with spinner Sophie Ecclestone while returning to the pavilion.
