Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant provided a health update on Monday after being officially ruled out of the fifth and final Test against England at The Oval. The dynamic vice-captain took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to thank his fans for the support he has received and offer insight into his recovery process.
"Appreciate all the love and good wishes coming my way. It`s been a real source of strength," Pant wrote. "I will begin rehab once my fracture heals and I am slowly settling into the process. Staying patient, following the routines, and giving it my 100%," Pant wrote on X (formerly Twitter). "Playing for my country has always been the proudest moment of my life. Can`t wait to be back doing what I love."
