Sam Konstas had made quite an impression on his debut in the Melbourne Test, scoring an aggressive half-century and getting shoulder-barged by Indian superstar Virat Kohli. He later got into verbal spats with other Indian players as well, but they could not live up to the early promise

Australia`s opening batsmen Sam Konstas and Nathan McSweeney, who made their debuts against Team India during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, have been named in the side`s `A` squad that will clash against India `A` for four-day matches in Lucknow.
Earlier, Konstas replaced McSweeney in the series against India, but fell short of making the most out of the opportunity at the top.
Later, he also failed to deliver performances against the West Indies, despite his side having an upper hand.
