Wriddhiman Saha had planned his retirement from cricket when he last visited Eden Gardens in June. However, after conducting a meeting with the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) to resolve the issues that had caused his move to Tripura for two seasons, Saha changed his mind.
The credit goes to Sourav Ganguly. The former India captain convinced Wriddhiman Saha to stay and finish his career with Bengal. Despite struggling with injuries, the wicketkeeper-batsman decided to continue his play with the help of the team`s physio.
