Rohit announced his retirement from Test cricket in May ahead of India`s ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 starting tour of England. From 2013-25, Rohit played 67 Tests for India, scoring 4,301 runs at an average of 40.57, with 12 centuries and 18 fifties

Ahead of the ODI series against Australia, Team India`s skipper Rohit Sharma has resumed his training in the nets.
In a video shared by the cricketer on his official social media handle, he was seen practicing in the nets. The right-hander also expressed excitement for returning back to the nets. Taking to Instagram:
