Australian cricketer David Warner and Candice had a fairytale wedding in 2015. But Warner’s romantic proposal in South Africa the same year did not go according to plan, revealed the Delhi Capitals star’s wife. The couple are parents to daughters Ivy, seven, Indi, five and Isla, two.

“David had an amazing plan. We were in South Africa and we were going to climb Lion’s Head [a mountain in Cape Town], but it was too windy, so that didn’t go ahead. So we went to the beach for a picnic. He popped the champagne but I was three months pregnant, so I couldn’t drink it. So he had to drink the whole bottle of champagne while I watched,” Candice said on radio show, Triple M’s Rush Hour.
