Stuart Broad lands maiden coaching role in post-retirement move

Stuart Broad concluded his Test career with 604 wickets in 167 matches. He also finished as England`s second-highest wicket-taker in the all-time list. Out of 604 Test wickets, the former pacer bagged 153 scalps against arch-rivals Australia, which is the most by any player in the format`s history

South Africa roped in former England pacer Stuart Broad as a consultant for their national side ahead of the World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia, according to the International Cricket Council (ICC).

This will also mark his first stint in a coaching role after his retirement in 2023. He will attend South Africa`s training camp on June 9 at Lord`s Cricket Ground.

Broad concluded his Test career with 604 wickets in 167 matches. He also finished as England`s second-highest wicket-taker in the all-time list. Out of 604 Test wickets, the former pacer bagged 153 scalps against arch-rivals Australia, which is the most by any player in the format`s history.
