The stadium`s Vinoo Mankad Gate had a poster of Amol Kale which read as "Emotional Tribute"</p>

Bhartiya Janta Party`s Mumbai unit president Ashish Shelar also attended the death ceremony in Mumbai. Shelar in 2015 was elected as the vice president of Mumbai Cricket Association and is currently the treasurer of Board of Control for Cricket in India
